Ashbury Giclee Canvas Prints or Metal Prints are reproduced from the original fine art by the artist. Inspired by a trip to San Francisco where Thomas visited his cousin on Ashbury street between Haight street and the entrance to the Golden Gate Park and broke away from his realism/surrealism disciplined oils and started the freedom of color and looseness of moving acrylic paint. He came home and produced this and “Haight” (it’s sister painting), and “San Francisco Rainbow”.
