Color Sketches

Color Sketches are "original" originals. They are the original sketches that mark where my creative process began for each project. Many of these sketches became finished paintings and might be familiar to you. Some of the Color Sketches haven’t yet progressed to a final painting. 

When I come up with an idea, I usually do a sketch and then I do a colored version on canvas that I refer to while I'm executing an original painting.

Some of the color sketches are in great condition and some are a bit weathered. You can see the flaws in the photograph. 

Dimensions are approximate within an inch. All of the Color Sketches are paintings on canvas and they are Moderately priced. So, if you can’t afford an original, finished painting, you can own a color sketch painting for about $100!
